I am an existing Café Mam customer, what is my user name and password?
If you have used this online system before to create a login in password and have lost or forgotten your information, don't panic! Either click on the Login banner above and choose the Forgot Password? Link. You will receive an email at the address you used to register, which will let you know how to reset your password. If you need more information or more help, please feel free to email or call us.
You do not automatically have a user name and password on this new website if you are an existing customer. You can create one either on the Login page or when you check out for the first time. You also have the option to complete your order anonymously.
Do I have to order using this website?
No. You can send us an email or call us and we would be glad to process your order. Existing customers who are accustom to paying by check can continue to do so by emailing, calling, or sending in your order. If you want to pay with a credit card, this website is the best way to do that. We are also more than glad to keep a card on file with our secure accounting software and you can then call in or email us your order. Our accounting software does not communicate with the website, thus credit card information on file is not available through the website.
Why do I have to re-enter my credit card information every time I order online?
For security reasons, our server is not set up to store your credit card information at this time. If you want to keep a card on file on our secure accounting software, you are welcome to call it in, and then place your orders using our toll-free number, 888-Cafe-Mam, or by sending an email. We love to talk to you!
Why does you site load slowly and have some scrolling problems?
Those using dial-up will get slow loading pages due to the amount of pictures on this site. We apologize for any inconvenience.
In terms of scrolling problems, Internet Explorer released a version that does not work with a large number of mouse drivers. Googling "IE 7 scrolling problems" will show that this is a common problem independent of our website. This is not a problem with other versions of Internet Explorer besides version 7. This is also not a problem with Firefox or other browsers. Updating your mouse browser or switching to Firefox may help fix this problem.
According to posts on some forums, these solutions may be helpful:
1) Start.
2) Control Panel.
3) Mouse.
4) Choose the Button tab.
5) For "scroller", set the following: Check the box labeled "Use the MS Office compatible scroll only."
6) Also, check the box labeled "Scroll in active window only."
--OR--
Step 1: Open SetPont (Start Menu > Program Files > Logitech menu > Mouse and Keyboards > Settings)
Step 2: Click the Scroll-Wheel icon on the side menu. This icon is located at the bottom of the menu bar, located to the left of the window.
Step 3: Select VX Revolution from "Select Device" dropdown box.
Step 4: Select Internet Explorer from "Select Program" dropdown box.
Step 5: Uncheck the box entitled "Allow Smooth Scrolling."
